About
Groombridge Camping, perfect for anyone looking to book a last-minute summer camping holiday.
The campsite is situated in a secluded and beautiful location in the historic village of Groombridge on the Kent and East Sussex border. The campsite boasts generous space for tents on wonderful flat grassy pitches with sweeping views across the High Weald countryside.
Nature lovers will enjoy waking up to grazing deer and birdsong before enjoying breakfast and setting off for a day of adventure. Anyone booking a pitch this summer can take advantage of a free family pass to nearby attraction Groombridge Place Enchanted Forest & Gardens.
The campsite is situated in an area with extremely low light pollution so campers can enjoy spectacular starry nights and perhaps even see a shooting star or two during their stay!
The campsite is also close to the Spa Valley Railway whose steam trains take passengers between Eridge and Tunbridge Wells West with further stations at High Rocks and Groombridge. Groombridge is close to the Spa Town of Tunbridge Wells as well as Ashdown Forest which is home to Winnie-the-Pooh’s Pooh Sticks Bridge.
Groombridge Place is also home to Peacock Cafè which offers delicious freshly prepared food from 9am to 6pm every day. There is also a farm shop nearby and the village of Groombridge has a bakery, post office, local store and two pubs.
