Soak up the creative inspiration of Kipling at Bateman's in Burwash. Home to the British author and poet famous for work including 'The Jungle Book' and 'Puck of Pook's Hill'. He lived and wrote at Bateman's from 1902-1936 and his house is now owned by the National Trust.
Gaze at the amazing work by the surrealist artist Lee Miller, renowned photographer, and Roland Penrose, English painter and poet who both lived at Farley's Farm near Chiddingly. The house and gallery showcase the work of many famous artists. They are open to the public and exhibitions are hosted here throughout the year.
