The UK's first English Vermouth-ery is now open to the public.

In the loop drinks specialises in IWSC award-winning English Vermouth, made from English wine and predominantly fresh botanicals. They are situated on the site of Downsview Winery on the outskirts of Crowborough in Rotherfield. 

In the loop work with English wine that would otherwise go to waste, giving it new life as Vermouth and keeping it in the circular economy a.k.a. IN THE LOOP. Come and see what an English Vermoutherie looks like and enjoy a Negroni whilst you're at it (other drinks are available). In the loop's Vermouth style is wine-led and flavourful, creating a range that is delightful neat as well as mixed into classic cocktails. Their Extra dry white Vermouth is perfect in a Martini and the Semi-sweet red Vermouth makes a great Manhattan.

In the loop drinks was founded in 2019 by Food scientist and Winemaker Gnina Balchin. They are proud to be the only producer on the Wealden wine trail that specialises solely in English Vermouth, and a visit here will guarantee to add another angle to your day trip.
