About
The Abergavenny Arms is a 15th century coaching inn located in Frant in East Sussex and can be found on the A267 between the spa town of Tunbridge Wells and Eastbourne.
The Hotel was built during the reign of Henry VI in 1450 and was known as the ‘Apsis’. It then changed its name to the Bull and then in 1823 became The Abergavenny Arms named after Lord Abergavenny the owner until 1933.
This Pub/Restaurant menus are created to be sympathetic to the seasonal availability of produce and where possible ingredients are sourced locally.
