Explore the Moon Twilight Workshop - The Observatory Science Centre

Twilight workshop for ages 7-11 years. The Moon is a very interesting and mysterious object. Come and find out all about it and why sometimes you see it during the day and sometimes at night. Make a model of the Moon, create some very messy craters, learn some fascinating facts and design and build your own Moon lander. On twilight workshops you also get to visit one of our huge telescopes.

On this workshop you will find out just how mysterious the Moon actually is. Sometimes you see it at night and sometimes you can see it during the day but why does it rise and set at different times? What is it made of and could we survive without it?
