About

The Anchor Inn, in Hartfield, East Sussex is a family-friendly country pub offering a warm welcome, tasty food, quality drinks and comfortable accommodation, all in the wonderful surroundings of this 15th century manor house.

Set in the heart of the Ashdown Forest, and home of Winnie-the-Pooh, The Anchor Inn offers four country-styled rooms, all of which are en-suite and the perfect place to rest your feet after a day exploring.  A continental breakfast is included in your stay and at weekends, you can opt for a delicious, freshly cooked English breakfast.  All rooms are situated above the pub, therefore there will be some noise during pub opening hours, particularly at weekends.  You can reserve tables for lunch and dinner during your stay or, for those who are going ‘out and about’ a packed lunch can be provided.  (Please note that evening meals are not served on Sundays).
