Wassail 2025 at Bignose and Beardy

About

Come and join Bignose and Beardy for a traditional wassailing! They need your help as they ask for blessing for the coming year's crop and chase out evil spirits from the orchard.

You will be enjoying mulled cider, their spirit of cider and vinegar, local food producers and they will have a number of family friendly activities planned before darkness falls and we light the torches...

Try your hand at:

-Cider tasting (and brandy tasting)

-Apple olympics to test your skills

-Noise makers to ward off evil

-Bread twists to ask for blessing (and make a wish)

-Treasure hunt to try your luck

-Clay pot making

-Singing and story telling

-Cider and Mulled cider and food stands from local producers.

-Plus they will have cider, spirit of cider and vinegar for sale to take home.

Dress warmly for the weather and bring a musical instrument to bang blow or strum. We need to make some noise!
