About

Forest Row was originally set up as a hunting base as The Ashdown Forest became a favourable place for hunting in the 14th century. Forest Row has a mixture of old and new from Sussex cottages to modern developments. Forest Row is a small town with a population of approximately 5500 people.

Forest Row is minutes away from the famous and original Winnie-the-pooh country, A.A. Milnes's classic. Pooh corner has the largest selection of 'Pooh-phernalia' to be found anywhere in the world.
